Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the Deficio calorie tracking app ("the app", "we"), developed by MKB Software, collects, why, and how you can control or delete it. Contact: mkbofficial@hotmail.com.

In short: we only store what you enter to track your calories. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use analytics or tracking tools.

1. Using the app as a guest

If you choose "Continue as guest", everything you enter stays only on your device. It is never sent to our servers. Uninstalling the app deletes this data.

2. Data we store when you create an account

If you sign up, the following is stored in our cloud database so you can access it on any device:

  • Account data: your email address and password. Passwords are stored only in hashed (encrypted) form; we cannot see them.
  • Profile: first and last name, sex, age, height, weight, activity level, target weight and start date.
  • Health and fitness data: the meals you log (name, calories, optional protein, carbs and fat), water intake and your weight history.
  • Premium status: if you redeem a promo code, the code and your premium end date. Saved foods and recipes are stored with your profile.

3. Why we use this data

  • To calculate your basal metabolic rate, daily energy use, calorie target and deficit.
  • To show your daily log, summary and weight chart.
  • To sync your data between your devices and keep it safe if you change phones.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.

4. Service providers

  • Supabase (database and sign-in): stores account data on servers in the European Union (Stockholm, Sweden). Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
  • Open Food Facts (open food database): only when you tap "search packaged products" or scan a barcode, the search words or the barcode number are sent to Open Food Facts to find nutrition values. No personal data is sent.
  • Google Play and RevenueCat (subscriptions): if you buy Deficio Premium, Google Play processes the payment. We never see your card details. RevenueCat receives an app user ID and your purchase status so that your premium access works on all your devices.

Camera

The camera is used only when you tap "Scan barcode" (Premium). The image is processed on your phone to read the barcode; no photo or video is stored or uploaded.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone else.

5. Security

All connections to our servers are encrypted. Database rules ensure that each user can only read and change their own data.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your account data until you delete your account. You can delete your account and all related data at any time:

  • In the app: Home screen → Account (👤, bottom right) → "Delete my account". Deletion is immediate and permanent.
  • Without the app: follow the steps on our account deletion page.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Turkey's KVKK), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, email us at mkbofficial@hotmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. Children

The app is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Health disclaimer

Calculations in the app are estimates and are not medical advice. If you have a health condition, consult a doctor or dietitian before starting a diet.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, inform you in the app.

1. Misafir olarak kullanım

"Misafir olarak devam et" seçeneğini kullanırsan girdiğin her şey sadece cihazında kalır, sunucularımıza hiç gönderilmez. Uygulamayı silmek bu verileri de siler.

2. Hesap oluşturduğunda sakladığımız veriler

Kayıt olursan, verilerine her cihazdan erişebilmen için aşağıdakiler bulut veritabanımızda saklanır:

  • Hesap bilgileri: e-posta adresin ve şifren. Şifreler yalnızca şifrelenmiş (hash) olarak saklanır; biz göremeyiz.
  • Profil: ad, soyad, cinsiyet, yaş, boy, kilo, hareket seviyesi, hedef kilo ve başlangıç tarihi.
  • Sağlık ve fitness verileri: eklediğin yemekler (ad, kalori, isteğe bağlı protein, karbonhidrat ve yağ), su tüketimi ve kilo geçmişin.
  • Premium durumu: promosyon kodu kullanırsan kod ve premium bitiş tarihin. Kaydettiğin yemekler ve tarifler profilinle birlikte saklanır.

3. Verileri neden kullanıyoruz?

  • Bazal metabolizmanı, günlük harcamanı, kalori hedefini ve açığını hesaplamak için.
  • Günlüğünü, özetini ve kilo grafiğini göstermek için.
  • Verilerini cihazların arasında eşitlemek ve telefonun değişse de korumak için.

Verilerini reklam, profilleme ya da başka bir amaçla kullanmayız.

4. Hizmet sağlayıcılar

  • Supabase (veritabanı ve giriş): hesap verilerini Avrupa Birliği'ndeki sunucularda (Stockholm, İsveç) saklar. Veriler şifreli bağlantı (HTTPS) ile iletilir.
  • Open Food Facts (açık gıda veritabanı): yalnızca "market ürünlerinde ara" butonuna bastığında ya da barkod okuttuğunda, arama kelimeleri veya barkod numarası besin değerlerini bulmak için Open Food Facts'e gönderilir. Kişisel veri gönderilmez.
  • Google Play ve RevenueCat (abonelik): Deficio Premium satın alırsan ödemeyi Google Play işler; kart bilgilerini asla görmeyiz. RevenueCat, premium erişimin tüm cihazlarında çalışsın diye bir uygulama kullanıcı kimliği ve satın alma durumunu alır.

Kamera

Kamera yalnızca "Barkod okut"a (Premium) dokunduğunda kullanılır. Görüntü barkodu okumak için telefonunda işlenir; fotoğraf veya video saklanmaz ya da yüklenmez.

Kişisel verilerini başka hiç kimseye satmayız, kiralamayız veya paylaşmayız.

5. Güvenlik

Sunucularımızla tüm bağlantılar şifrelidir. Veritabanı kuralları, her kullanıcının yalnızca kendi verisini görebilmesini ve değiştirebilmesini sağlar.

6. Saklama süresi ve silme

Hesap verilerini, hesabını silene kadar saklarız. Hesabını ve ilgili tüm verileri istediğin zaman silebilirsin:

  • Uygulamadan: Ana sayfa → Hesap (👤, sağ alt) → "Hesabımı sil". Silme anında ve kalıcı olarak gerçekleşir.
  • Uygulama olmadan: hesap silme sayfamızdaki adımları izle.

7. Hakların

KVKK ve GDPR gibi düzenlemeler kapsamında kişisel verilerine erişme, düzeltme, dışa aktarma, silme ve işlenmesine itiraz etme hakkın vardır. Bu hakları kullanmak için mkbofficial@hotmail.com adresine e-posta gönder. 30 gün içinde yanıt veririz.

8. Çocuklar

Uygulama 18 yaş ve üzeri yetişkinler içindir. Çocuklardan bilerek veri toplamayız. Bir çocuğun hesap oluşturduğunu düşünüyorsan bize ulaş, hesabı sileriz.

9. Sağlık uyarısı

Uygulamadaki hesaplamalar tahminidir ve tıbbi tavsiye değildir. Bir sağlık sorunun varsa diyete başlamadan önce doktora veya diyetisyene danış.

10. Değişiklikler

Bu politikayı değiştirirsek yukarıdaki tarihi güncelleriz; önemli değişiklikleri uygulama içinde de bildiririz.
